Everpix is a consumer technology company offering a photo platform like no other. It relies on science with image analysis technology that understands photos on a content level, to seamlessly organize everything in one place. Users can snap as many photos as they want, discover the photos they have, and share what they love. The team’s focus on scale, science, and design gives them a competitive advantage over others in the photography space. Everpix was founded in 2011, headquartered in San Francisco, California, and has 7 employees. The founders are Pierre-Olivier Latour (sold motion graphics technology to Apple, designed & built Discover iPad app for Cooliris), Kevin Quennesson (ex-Apple and Cooliris with a strong background in vision, image processing, and graphics), and Wayne Fan (formerly designer at Odopod and Frog Design). Strive Capital and Index Ventures were the first institutional investors in Everpix and co-invested in its seed round.
